A really wonderful and very stylish English solid or sterling silver ring box. There are hallmarks on both the base and lid of the box, for Birmingham 1914.

The lid is blessed with super piece of tortoiseshell, nice and glossy with a tapestry of colours from champagne to deep chocolate brown. The centre of the shell has a simple and elegant silver pique inlay in the form of a circle.

The interior is fitted in blue velvet to fit six rings.

Excellent condition measuring 4 1/2" x 1 3/4" x 1" high.
