An absolutely stunning piece of shiny tortoise shell was used to cover this wooden stamp box, the patina is glossy showing off the combination of the chocolate brown and rich cognac colours.

The lid is decorated with very elegant silver pique inlay and the shell wraps the entire box including the underside.

The hinge is in perfect working condition and the lid fits well. Superb condition measuring 2" x 1 7/8" x 1 1/4" tall.
