Most of these silver hair decorations are made of fairly thin and light weight silver, this one however, is super quality and really quite thick, solid and heavy.

The top which resembles a butterfly shape is intricately engraved giving it extra sparkle.

It retains a good crisp hallmark for Birmingham 1899, so a good true Victorian piece; together with the makers mark W D.

Excellent undamaged condition measuring 5 1/4" long and 2 1/4" at widest point.
