The gilded frame is beautifully engraved as is the mount to the front which incorporates a circular vacant cartouche which could be engraved if desired.

The leather has a gold embossed line decoration on both back and front and the leather is lovely and soft to the touch, very tactile.

There are several little compartments with one secured with a little catch. Inside this section I found a small horseshoe lucky charm which will remain in the purse and hopefully will bring the new owner some good luck!

Excellent condition, one stitch missing on the inside which is insignificant but mentioned for accuracy. Measures 3 1/2" x 2 1/2".
