Dating to the late Victorian period, around 1880, this is a wonderful snuff box made from horn and and crowned with a highly decorative tortoiseshell panel.

The shell on top has quite beautiful markings with a blend of champagne, cognac and deep chocolate brown colourings.

Excellent undamaged condition measuring 3 1/2" x 1 3/8" x 7/8" tall.
