Probably French or Austrian in origin, it dates to around 1880, late Victorian.
The bell has an unusual mechanism, where the knob on top is twisted like winding a watch, works wonderfully.
Remaining in excellent condition with only one chip to one of the smaller stones as seen in the last photograph.
Measuring 4 1/4" tall with the larger stones having a diameter of 1" - a stunning piece!
