The colour is graduated from an almost clear base up to a nice rich cranberry colour on the shoulders of the bottle.

The solid or sterling silver lid is delightful, with floral and foliate repousse decoration around a small cartouche which could be engraved if desired.

The top is clearly marked with a British hallmark for London 1905, the makers mark is a little hard to make out but I think is W H. The top pulls of to reveal the original glass stopper to keep those precious contents safe from evaporation.

A stunning example in excellent condition measuring 2 3/4" in diameter and standing 3 3/4" tall.
