It's been a while since I have had the pleasure of owning one of these, even for a short time!

This beautifully detailed pewter snuff boxed by famed James Dixon and Sons features an English rural scene with three hunting dogs.

The mark on the underside has the typical bugle mark and "James Dixon, Sheffield / Cornish Pewter / Made In England / L1456".

Dating to around 1900/ 1920, this super snuff box is in excellent condition with an aged patinaiton and good working hinge; measures 2.25" x 1.75" x 0.5" high.

Item ID: 21033
