Here is a rare surgeon set, made from red leather, finely decorate on case with engraved garlands of leaves. Locked with nickel, inside is lined with purple velvet silk, this case has inside pockets. Set is composed with 17 medical tools, lancets, made from horn or t.o.r.t.o.i,s.e, mounted from silver or steel, case well signed with gold letters: "SAMSON rue de l'école de médecine N°30 fabricant d'instruments de chirurgie, PARIS". Dimensions: 6-3/4ins x 3-1/4ins (17cm x 8cm). Condition: Is good with a normal wear, there is no flaw, nothing is broken, we have only to mention some hairlines on horn plates, some rust spots on blades, and probably some pieces missing, please enlarge our detailed pictures.. This is a French fine working, dating from 1840-1860, an authentic antique set of collection that we fully guarantee.
