Late 18thc Bronze Framed Pair of Wedgwood Medallions

This is a fine pair of Wedgwood Jasper medallions, white cameo on blue background bordered with a bronze engraved frame. Mythological allegory, lovely cherubs as it was on fashion late 1700s. Framing is wonderful, original, thick, finely chased, fit with a brass hanging ring. A rare to find collecting pair. Dimensions: 2-1/4ins x 1-3/4ins for jasper oval medallion, 3-1/5ins x 2-1/5ins with frame. Condition is Excellent! carefully inspected: no chip, no broken parts, no hairline. There is only to mention some light wear on relief, as often in those early pieces. Well signed WEDGWOOD with separate capital letters, attesting late 18th Century period, an authentic antique pair that we fully guarantee.
