This is a lovely pair of eyeglasses, dating from our French "Revolution or Directoire" period, Circa 1790, une "manière d'y voir", a very elegant model of "scissors" eyeglasses, made from polished cut steel, chased and well mounted with original screws. This fine pair of early spectacles has still its original glasses of the period. This is a very collectable item for early optical implement's lovers! Dimensions: 4-1/2 ins x 1-1/2ins = 11,5cm x 3,5cm. Condition: Is excellent, there is no flaw, no crack, we only mention some light wear on surface, fast nothing visible, please enlarge our detailed pictures.
