Anri Wood Carved Figural Napkin Ring

This charming Anri figural hand carved napkin ring is dressed in native costume. He is a standing musician playing an accordion on one side of the napkin ring. His head is carved with the body and does not move. It is 2 1/2" tall. He is from the Anri Wood Carving Company located in the northern mountains of Italy founded by Anton Riffeser in 1912. I believe this figural carving is an older piece from the 1920's or 30's. Wonderful detailed carving and paint job. I can see why people love to collect these cute items because they bring a smile to your face. Very good condition. The napkin ring has a hole drilled in the bottom. but it does not come through to the top side. Possibly done to display the item. I am listing several more of these napkin rings in my shop.
