German Majolica Plate with Birds

This is a lovely to look at Majolica 9 1/4" Plate. The background is turquoise. The embossed design is of two colorful birds perched on branches among grapes and leaves. The birds are yellow, reddish orange, and brown. The grapes are lilac in color. The leaves are greenish yellow with reddish orange tints. The pretty border is highly embossed scrolls. The Majolica Plate is in really good condition with no chips. The design border has some line crazing, but nothing serious. The plate is marked with a German Symbol and the impressed numbers 230.
