This antique Set of 16 Royal Crown Derby 10" Dinner Plates and 2 Small matching Platters ( 10 1/2" x 8 1/4") is outstanding in age, beauty and condition. The date cypher for these pieces is the year 1900. The Victorian style china is beautifully decorated with cobalt blue flower sprays with gold leaves on a white background. The rim is scalloped with bead embossing and trimmed with gold lines. The condition is wonderful. Only one of the small Platters has two small chips. The Plates are clean, no chips, no cracks, and no crazing. This is unbelievable for china plates of this age and quantity.

On the back the pieces are marked in red " Royal Crown Derby" England with the crown symbol. The cypher mark under the symbol dates these china items to the year 1900. An oval with the words" Mortlock's Oxford Street" inside probably is the name of the store this china was sold at during the late Victorian period. There is also an impressed Derby and number 700.
