Handcrafted of natural shells, this bird is 6 1/2" tall on a 4" base. The bird consist of four to five shades of small cone shells. The base is mostly small brown circular shells. The Shell Bird has eyes and a painted red nose. He seems to perch on a rock. The condition is good. There are some broken, not missing, shells on the top of his head and backside neck. This is a wonderful vintage Gold Metal Tole Tray with pretty hand painted white flowers with green leaves. This Tray measures 17 1/2" x 13 1/2" . The raised edges are reticulated with hand openings on the ends. This type of tray was very popular during the 1940's and 50's. Now they are collectibles. There are a few minor scratches and wear on the gold, but over all very clean. No sticker or signature on the back. A nice Tray to display on a wall or use for serving guest.

This lovely vintage sea shell frame measures 10" x 8" . The outer border is small shells of the same shape and size. The inner border is larger shells of different varieties. The third border is a repeat of the small sea shells of the same size and shape. A picture 5" x 7" would slide in at the top of the frame. The lining and back are red felt. The condition is very good. There are no broken shells.

This is an extraordinary Shell Box due to the quality of shells and design. The Box is heavy wood, brass hinge, with red felt lining. The Shell Box measures 7 1/2" long, 4 3/4" tall, and 5 1/2" deep.
