Betty the Beautiful Bride

1958 Betty the Beautiful Bride, 30" tall, soft miracle vinyl, bending arms and legs, washable saran hair, she comes with white bride gown, veil, lace gloves, tiara and pearl necklace, high heel shoes and blue wrist tag with original price of $29.95. Missing descriptive plaque, stain glass plaque and a 45 LP single record of Bing Crosby's song "Because".

Head

Betty's head is in Good to Very Good condition.Her hair is blond and is a little dull and flat. She has painted on lipstick, eyebrows and bottom eyelashes which are 99% present. Her face makeup, blush is not there. Betty's upper eyelashes are rooted and are 100% present. Her eyes open and close freely. Betty's face is very pale. There is a tiny scratch on her right cheek. The doll is marked on her neck 89 with a triangle beside it.

Body

Very Good condition. Six pack looking lumps at her abdomen. No marks or discolorations.

Arms

Arms are in Good condition. Across her shoulders are several little pin pricks on both shoulders. It looks as though it came from the dress as it is a uniform strip on both sides more so on the left than the right. They have not gone completely through the plastic but they are rather deep. All of her nail polish is present.

Legs

There are four little indents at the bottom of her left leg but the plastic is not punctured. There is a dimple at the back left leg where the leg attaches to the body. She has no toenail polish. Her legs are a little swollen at her ankles.

Dress

Her outfit is in Very Good Condition. The outfit could use a wash. One seam was unstitched on one of her gloves which I have hand sewn. Other than the repair there is no other issues with the outfit. The outfit is complete with the beautiful brides dress, veil, bouquet (flowers could use ironing), gloves, velvet belt and of course her underpants.

Box

Box is in Good condition. Bent at the top and one side. In felt is written 1998 on the unbent side.

Sweet Rosemary

Rosemary is in her complete outfit and in very good condition. Her face is beautiful. 1958 Sweet Rosemary the Lovely Bridesmaid, 30" tall, soft miracle vinyl, bending arms and legs, washable saran hair, she comes with blue ruffled dress similar to Betty's white bride gown, blue scarf and pearl necklace and earrings and high heel shoes. Missing descriptive plaque, stain glass plaque and a 45 LP single record of Bing Crosby's song "Because".

Head

Betty's head is in Very Good condition. Her hair is blond and is a shiny and full with a nice hair pin of faux pearls. She has painted on lipstick, eyebrows bottom eyelashes and blush which are 99% present. Her face makeup, is stunning. Betty's upper eyelashes are rooted and are 100% present. Her eyes open and close freely. Betty's face is a beautiful pink. There is a small mark on the back of her neck. The doll is marked on her neck and the marks are in the photos.

Body

Very Good condition. Very flat abdomen. No marks or discolorations.

Arms

Arms are in Very Good condition. All of her nail polish is present. There is a tiny felt pen mark on her left arm. The store I purchased this doll from had a stick on adhesive price tag and she used felt pen. The felt pen transferred through onto the doll. Other than that her arms are minty.

Legs

Legs are in Good to Very Good condition. There is no marks or discoloration. She has no toenail polish. Her legs are a little swollen at her ankles. There is a slight rippling along her legs.

Dress

Her outfit is in Very Good Condition. The outfit could use a wash. No Loose stitching or tears. The outfit is complete with the beautiful blue lace dress with a pink underlining and white little bows that are fraying, pink velvet belt and of course her underpants.
