This captivating early 1900’s chandelier is encircled by five cast medallions displaying center shields, curling acanthus leaves, and the most impressive cast ships at each crest. Beginning with a simple brass canopy, this chandelier is constructed of five iron bands surrounding a center brass rod. Each band blossoms out around a loop-style brass top finial, and is bent to allow for the medallions in the center. At the base, the bands bend and stretch outward to meet modest bobeches, which reflect the design of the canopy above. This regal chandelier finishes with a simple brass bottom finial. This chandelier is in excellent condition, it has been professionally rewired, and it comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This chandelier is 21” at its widest; the length of the chandelier only is 18”; the total length is 34 ¼.”
