This heavy cast iron cone-shaped lantern has a gorgeous patina, and begins with a wide, disc-shaped top which is met by four solid straps surrounding the original hammered glass cylinder. Each strap displays a trefoil design which gives this transitional piece a beautifully unassuming ornamentation, while observing crisp clean lines, which will allow this lantern to be used in any décor from Craftsman to Spanish Revival to Tudor. There are two barely visible hair-line fractures (pictured) where the strap meets the top disc, but they do not detract from the light fixture’s exceptional beauty in any way. The glass is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks. This piece has been professionally rewired and comes with all the all necessary attachments for modern installation. The overall diameter is 8 3/4”; the overall length is 17 3/4”
