Offered here is this fantastic covered dish from Red Wing's Gypsy Trail dinnerware pattern Fondoso. This pattern was designed by noted Red Wing designer Belle Kogan in 1938. Both pieces are covered in a rich turquoise glaze both inside and out. The dish stands about 3 1/2" high with the lid in place. Although difficult to see, all 3 pieces are marked Red Wing. This dish was made for individual servings of soup or beans. With this crisp art deco styling, these pieces are getting more difficult to obtain as they seldom come up for sale.

There are no chips, cracks, fleabites or repairs. There are minor production flaws such as glaze pops.
