Offered here is this somewhat uncommon pair of metal bookends in the shape of a schnauzer dog. I'm calling these spelter but they could also be aluminum. They do show signs of tooling and lots of pitting. Each bookend is 6" long and a hair over 5" high. They are in "as found" condition, so they could use a cleaning if desired. The bases have a stamped #96 on them. There are no other marks as to maker. These are a rare treat for the collector.
