This is a wonderful Houze or Houzex small lamp with a square glass shade. Made for a child's room this lamp would date from the 1930's. The base is faceted and rests on 4 small feet. The electric socket is brown bakelite. The square shade has remnants of decals showing different aspects of the wild west. The base is 3 3/4" high, 6 1/4" to the top of the socket. The glass is opaque with orange, yellow and green swirls. The shade is 3 1/4" square, similar swirling of colors and also has 4 tiny feet. Overall, with the shade in place, the lamp is almost 11 1/2" high. I'm not sure the pictures show it but this lamp throws out a lot of light.

There are no chips, cracks, fleabites or repairs to the base. The shade has interior and exterior chips and the decals are really worn. The lamp works perfectly.
