Offered here is a Gorgeous Hammersley & Co. Fine Bone China Tea Cup and Saucer - Pattern Titled - "Queen Ann". This set was made in Longton, Staffordshire, England - backstamp dated c.1939 - 1950's as pictured below.

Magnificent hand painted floral groupings decorate this set in lavish detail on each piece – the artist has used a large and colorful variety of flowers to adorn this set with striking vibrant colors.

This teacup stands about 2.25" high with a wonderfully flared and scalloped body – rim of the cup has a rich gold coverage that has been applied thickly – the ornate, delicate handle has been finely detailed with gilt trim. Saucer measures just under 5.75" in diameter has a crimped design – it too has elaborate brushed gold gilt around the edge. Fabulous set - Absolutely Gorgeous....

Pictures don't do this set justice - this lovely Vintage set is in Great Condition - there are no chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs there is however some light crazing in the center of the saucer - the Hand Painted details and Elaborate Gold Gilt Highlights are all Clear, Bright & Intact. Glare in pictures is from camera (sorry). This set would make a wonderful addition to any teacup collection.
