An early folk art also referred to as tramp art, hand carved wood wall plaque displaying turkeys on a fence line..signed "G Spiess, Marceline, MO", also other writing in script which I cant make out..dating back to the 1930s, maybe earlier..plaque nicely detailed.. plaque is one piece of wood...measures 18"wide, 10 1/4"high, 3/4"thick, in excellent condition..has a wire with eyelets on back, ready to hang...This very, very charming wall piece would make a great addition to your home decor...
