A very early pre-prohibition Schlitz Beer pottery stein, I suppose it could also be referred to as a mug although there is an indent on the handle where the lid could be attached...displays a lovely lady sitting on the world wrapped in a "Schlitz: banner, reads "THE BEER THAT MADE MILWAUKEE FAMOUS", also having a "Schlitz" emblem on each side of handle(see pic)...still in very nice condition for its age, although not perfect...there is a tight 1" hairline running down from rim, crazing with some areas having light age discoloration....there are no chips...measures 4 1/4"high, 3 1/2"across...marked on bottom "Thuemler Mfg Co, Rochester, PA"...this stein displays very nicely and would made a great addition to your collection...
