A very stylish wood dresser or jewelry box displaying a color cottage scene in center of lid, surrounded by a lovely hand carved impressed design...box having a serpentine front, dovetailed on all 4 corners, having 4 feet, closure clasp and hinges appear to be original....interior is very clean, mirror inside lid displays some silver wear, interior lining displays some edge wear... I believe the wood to be hard maple.....box is in excellent original condition, having a few expected imperfections, light scratches on lid(see pic)...measures 4"high, 10 1/2"wide, 7"deep...this very lovely box would be a pleasure to use and display.....
