And now for something entirely different. Hall marked in Estonia in C18th, this 9" long silver serving spoon is also dot-engraved ACC & Co. 1825. Its assay marking town of Reval (known as Tallinn since 1918) was a leading member of the Hanseatic trading league as far back as C13th. Latterly Estonia has see-sawed between the domination of Denmark, Sweden, Germany and Russia. The population of Estonia (1.3 million) finally gained its independence (from Russia) in 1991. In excellent condition, this spoon comes with a wealth of history attached.
