From around 1875/85 and produced by Sowerby Ellison of Gateshead glass works the design on this small vase was most probably by John G Sowerby. As well as being one of the leading glass manufacturers in the UK John G was a notable children's illustrator and the pair of youngsters featured were probably his creations. base size is 3" by 1 1/2". Condition perfect.
