Jean Burkhalter (1895-1982) was a French designer, architect and painter. He belonged to the musicalist movement, which promoted the osmosis between painting and music, translating musical emotions into the painting. His quotation is Euros 2,700 for a 65 by 50 cm painting (25.5 by 20 inches), which gives a value of Euros 6,086 to this painting.
