This is one of the few remaining early armoires built in France, having a coffer shape at the bottom and an armoire built on top. It has a relatively low height. Made out of chestnut it has a rich brown color, and has a few primitive carvings under the cornice. The cornice is newer. Excellent condition. One shelf inside. Circa 1630. Origin: France.
