The birds and flowers decoration is wonderful on this English tilt top tea table. It is painted over ebonized wood, and the top has a scrolled rim. Origin: England. Circa 1870. Very good condition with some aging marks: one 5 inches split on the pedestal; the paint on the top shows a very thin crack line at the wood joints, showing partially the underlying structure; and the paint is worn at the tip of the paw feet.
