Here is a truly uncommon and unique set of 6 Approx. 29" by 22" World War II maps, and except for the first map, which contains the legend, bridge installations, and organizations supported by the 1115th combat group, t appears that the remaining five maps may piece together to form one large map. The top of the first map has the title "1115th engineer combat group operations from omaha beach to the Elbe River", the legend (with very humorous pictures), a list in color of organizations supported by the 1115th engineer group, and drawn by Sgt. John A. Le Donne and checked by Major F. J. Hutte. The map overall is in excellent condition, with appropriate surface wear from the 1940s, folds, minor rips/tears along edge, and some staining/discoloration. An amazing collectors addition for the world war II buff. Most people realize that copies of these maps were distributed to various battalions that utilized them, and this is one of those copies I have several additional photos, including close ups of the first map detail. Please email me to request the remaining photos if you wish to see them.
