Here is an extremely rare 1889 Victorian EAPG Northwood glass white cased sugar shaker, in a spectacular embossed "Leaf Umbrella" pattern, with a pale yellow exterior. These shakers are also called sifters, dusters, dredges & muffineers and were used to hold sugar, spices, grated cheese, and candy bits. This magnificent shaker measures approx. 4 3/4" tall, 3 1/4" at the widest portion, and is in excellent condition with the exception of some minor chipping/rough spots along inside rim, and wear, tarnish, and a small amount of oxidation to screw cap.
