Here is an exquisite Robert Hanke Austrian vase / pitcher / ewer decorated with hand painted flowers outlined in gold on one side and a pink and yellow butterfly with gold beading on the other side. The figural applied gold handle is a gargoyle or dragon attempting to ingest a scalloped edge of the pitcher---very large and very dramatic. The rim is scalloped and serrated with gold trim and the upper portion of the neck is pink with a textured portion below. The background is cream in color with gold speckles and a textured gold base. The pitcher is approx. 9 1/2" tall to top of gargoyle's head, and approx. 6" from wing to spout. This fantastic piece is in excellent condition with no damage and only light gold loss and light surface wear. We are happy to accept lay-a-ways! We require a non-refundable deposit of 25% within 10 days, and the balance to be paid in full within 30-60 days.
