Here is a simply spectacular and most likely one of a kind Jean Pouyat Limoges France (JPL) 14 1/2" tankard featuring hand painted fighting Cocks / Roosters with feathers and gravel flying through the air, and clawing talons The background color is peach with the rim and handle painted gold. This a artist signed (Vane or Vanes) tankard was decorated by White's Art Co. one of the premier Chicago decorating companies, on a Jean Pouyat whiteware blank and dates from 1890-1932. This dramatic and highly unusual tankard is quite the conversation piece and is in excellent condition with the exception of gold loss, and some surface wear. We are happy to accept lay-a-ways! We require a non-refundable 25% deposit within 10 days, and the balance to be paid in full within 30-60 days.
