Exquisitely Detailed Japanese Satsuma Two Handled Covered Vegetable Bowl Men & Women Scenes Floral Gold

Here is a stunning Japanese Satsuma two handle covered vegetable bowl with spectacular hand painted floral scenes outlined in gold and the cover having a scene with women on one side and a scene with men on the other side. The bowl has embossing, trimmed with red/orange and gold, with the cover having a scalloped rim. The bowl measures approx. 5 1/2" tall, 10" handle to handle, and is in excellent condition with only light surface wear and light gold loss. I would estimate the age to be early 1900s or before. We are happy to accept lay-a-ways! We require a non-refundable 25% deposit within 10 days, and the balance to be paid in full within 30-60 days.
