Here is a delightful early Mason's Ironstone demitasse eight sided cup and saucer in an Imari pattern, with a red orange, cobalt blue, and gold hand painted detailed design. This set dates from 1891+. It also has an impressed mark that I cannot decipher. The cup measures approx. 1 7/8" tall and 1 3/4" across, and the saucer 4 3/4". Please pardon the camera glare causing white spots on the saucer. Both pieces have crazing and the saucer does have a line that could be an extremely tight hairline, or it could be crazing. There is some surface wear, yet the colors are still bright and vibrant for its age. Buyer to pay exact postage and insurance.
