Here is an exquisite continental soft paste footed bowl, featuring a reticulated / pierced and scalloped rim, applied pink, yellow, and white roses and rosebuds, gold trim, and a colorful interior floral bouquet. It measures approximately 10" across and 4 1/2" deep. The company backstamp is unidentified, and although I performed extensive research I cannot identify it further than to say it is probably of German origin, or perhaps Italian. This stunning bowl is in excellent condition, with only some minor gold loss. Typically with items of this type with applied flowers, you would find chipping or other damage on the petals. I have inspected this piece and found no damage, but because of the extensive detailing it is conceivable that I missed a very minor chip. Buyer to pay exact postage and insurance.
