SALE RS Prussia Chocolate Pot

This is an unusual RS Prussia red mark chocolate pot that has gold accents and traces of iridescent color around the top and bottom edges but no transfer or hand-painted decor (other than the heavy gold trimming that is found on the Surreal Dogwood decor). I saw another piece just like it so I believe the decor was intentional - maybe a try at the painted on gold birds with just a hint of color at the top. The other possibility is that someone washed away whatever decor may have been on it. I am not sure but look at the pictures and you decide...depends on whether you see your cup half full or half empty.

It is a beautiful mold though with no chips, cracks or repairs and it stands 9 inches tall. I am uncertain if the top is original...have seen lots of different mold shapes and although the coloring is similar to the traces around the top and bottom, the shape is somewhat plain for a coffee pot. It is an authentic RS Prussia Red Mark Chocolate pot though so for a very reasonable and much reduced from the normal chocolate pot price, you can add this one to your collection.
