Truthfully, I don't know what sort of amber-shaded plastic was used in the composition of this awe-inspiring brooch. Is it Lucite, or what? Very much reminds me of the gorgeous plastic Lea Stein employs in her iconic creations...
That said, this impressive accessory is an estate-sale acquisition from beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona. Measurements are approx. 3 2/4" long x 3" at widest point. All rhinestones in place, and fully functioning clasp. I would guess-timate this one dates back to the 1940s. It's in excellent vintage condition.
