C. 1960s CAFFCO Boy & Girl Angel Mod Candlesticks: Japan

Caffco is a company that begin out of Montgomery, AL, over 50 years ago. These darling examples of their home decorations measure approx. 5 1/2" tall x 3 1/2" wide across their bases. I believe they are constructed of some sort of heavy-duty, ceramic-like plastic. Each features a sticker on the bottom reading "Caffco Quality Products Japan." At one point these candlesticks were evidently featured in a brick-and-mortar shop or the like and were written upon in ink upon their bases. The girl reads: "LU Walnut Creek 781 041." The boy reads: "Der Candlemaker Walnut Creek, Ohio 7/81." If the 7/81 was meant to indicate a month and year, I feel quite certain this date was added after the fact as these candlesticks are utterly representative of a specific type of 1960s style.

These little angels could probably use a good cleaning, but I didn't want to go there personally. Little white marks are mainly from old price stickers. Most of this has been picked off now. I found no chips or cracks in the figures and would rate them as being in extremely good to excellent vintage condition.
