This one's the real deal. Initialed "ec" with a copyright mark at the front. Inside pocket reads "Collins of Texas" with the famous horse logo. Also signed "Copyright Enid Collins" on the inside.

Typical of Collins's flamboyant, fun style, this one features lots of big blooms and vines all over the front. Measurements are 10 3/4" high x 12 3/4" across the top x 3 3/4" across the sides at the base. Bottom is wood. Inside has one zippered pocket with an open pocket attached.

This collectible does have some of the common flaws as a result of age. The leather accents look a little tired and there is a modicum of staining to the fabric at the back of the purse, toward the bottom. Some of the smallest flowers, these being white with golden centers, are missing petals, and there some wear to the surfaces of some of the large cabochons. Still an exuberant accessory, but due to the wear, offered at a specially reduced, as-is, final-sale price.
