This marvelous brooch is over the top in that special Ritz fashion! This is from a line called "Lunch at the Ritz: Carte Du Jour." And they'd be yummy by any other name as well.
This style is called "Leapin' Leopard Lizard Pin." It has a bail so it may be worn as a pendant on a necklace as well. The card for this brooch is copyrighted 1986-2004. Measures just over 5" long, believe it or not. Mr. Lizard's legs are articulated and his enameled body is enhanced by amber-colored rhinestones and glass and filigree goldtone metal beads. Detailing is remarkable. He is signed on his underside and is in mint, never-worn condition.
