Vintage Rhinestone & Metal Demi-Parure

A very 1940s-'50s sensibility pervades this lovely old set. Each piece has one large, ruby-colored rhinestone at its center, with a number of clear rhinestones on either side. All stones are prong-set and in very good vintage shape. Necklace is a choker length, measuring approx. 15 1/2" long. Bracelet is 7 1/4" long.

Over the years, the goldtone metal has become burnished by time, though not in a way that is at all unattractive. The back of each piece has taken the greatest beating as regards the coloring of the metal due to exposure to body oils, but this is of course of little consequence at the front, when demi is worn.
