Your patience is requested as my job keeps me overseas half the month. ALL ARTISAN ITEMS MUST GO BY JAN. 1. Prices as Marked!
The Folio Society was founded in 1947 in order to issue quality editions. This is a splendid example indeed. There is one volume each devoted to Rome, Florence, and Venice. The cover of each is elegantly covered in moire' silk in shades, appropriately, of red, green and ivory. Books fit into a cardboard slipcase, and the measurements of the set when encased are 10" high x 7 1/2" across the bottom x 4 1/16" across the side.
These books feature lots of lush illustrations, in both color and black & white. "Rome" consists of 387 pages, "Florence" 398, and "Venice" 434.
Everything is in excellent condition with the exception of little spots left on the slipcase at its back and top and bottom where price stickers were evidently removed. This collectors' edition was issued in 2000.
Please be advised this set weighs in at a hefty 10 lbs. U.S. buyer pays actual postage (will wrap very carefully and send media mail if desired for a lesser postal charge) and insurance. International buyer pays actual postage, with insurance recommended.
