Recently acquired this lovely plaque at a going-out-of-business sale in the Philadelphia area. I believe this piece was probably hand carved, and while I'm not at all sure what the wood is, it is a nice mahogany shade. Measurements are approx. 12 3/4" long x 6 1/4" at widest point. Very old string-and-metal wall hanger on the back, as well as vestiges of an old sticker that undoubtedly named the location of and company that issued this home accessory.
