My boy Archie approved this lovely brooch, and prettily posed with it! I had a terrible time capturing the fiery beauty of this piece. While unsigned, it's wonderfully made and definitely looks as if it's a designer piece in the tradition of Juliana. Set in silvertone metal, all the stones are prongset and none has been dimmed by time. The outside border consists of large smoky baguettes with open backs. It's easy enough to find collectible old bracelets like this, but a necklace with glass quartz is a real find! This particular one features 24 stones in various colors, sizes, and shapes. The batch at the very center has a 2 1/4" drop. The silvertone chain, which is untarnished, measures approx. 17". Be the belle of the ball in this glorious accessory, featuring a centerpiece that measures approx. 6 1/2" long x 2 3/4" high at center point, which erupts into the vision of a beautiful flower. Lucite cabochons are open-backed; rhinestones are prong-set except for the ones the rest on each cab., which are pave'-set. I have been advised that, though unmarked as such, this is an Avon demi-parure, and that it is never-worn stock from the very early 1990s. The necklace is in the bolo style, though the bee is stationary and cannot be moved up and down. Length of chain above bee is approx. 17" around, with the longer of the two dangles measuring 1 1/2" long. The pierced earrings measure 3/4" in either direction. Everything's in excellent condition.

The striking, albeit pock-marked-looking visage measures approx. 3 1/2" long x 1 3/4" at its widest point. Chain features a fully functioning clasp and measures approx. 18" around, 19 3/4" with pendant top included. In excellent condition; shiny and appears never to have been worn.
