An exceptional American Brilliant Period cut glass compote from the Elmira Glass Company, with scalloped bowl featuring sawtooth edges cut with Star of David and diamond quilted patterns. The beautiful paneled stem is notched, and the base is star cut with a highly scalloped foot.

This is a very heavy piece with wonderful brilliance, a real showpiece in excellent condition with a few minute flakes to base edge.
