Exceptional early 1800 English Derby footed sauce tureen with cover, in a cream colored background, hand painted with named florals, “Sweet Pea” and “Auricula.” The tureen is mounted with U-shaped handles and supported on lion paw feet with lion head pediments, all highlighted in gilt.

The tureen is in excellent condition with slight age crazing, no discoloration, and little to no paint or gilt loss. The hand painted florals are finely detailed.
