An elegant heart-shaped sterling silver pill box made by R. Blackinton & Co., North Attleboro, MA, 1862-1967. This company was known for their sterling novelties, a perfect example found in this sweet little pill box. The sword-pierced "B" mark was used until 1900.

The pill box has a front hinged lid, a lovely gilt wash to the interior, and is in excellent condition.
