A magnificent 19th century French miniature portrait on Ivory of the "Little General" Napoleon in profile signed by the artist. This is a beautiful rendition with crisp strong coloration and detail. The portrait is set into a bronze frame mounted with an eagle and ribbon, symbols often associated with Napoleon. The portrait is in excellent condition, size 5 1/4" H x 3 1/4" W, can be either hung or sat on a tabletop like a frame.
